Bird on Sale.
I don't have an actual bird to sell. That title could be construed as misleading. What I do have is something a little bird told me. Bird, the wonderful Brooklyn boutique specializing in up and coming designers and hard to find collections, is having a sale. No worries if you are not in New York, check out ShopBird.com on the world wide web to find these pieces among many, many more.

Helmet Lang's racerback tank ($69) and washed silk dress ($219) are the brilliant blue you find in resort pools dotting exotic places like the Dalmatia coast. Accessorize with white sands and blinding sun.
Always a sucker for a tulip skirt, I'm finding even more fun on this Mociun tie front dress ($149). Looks like it would pair equally well with skimpy sandals or leggings and boots.
I've really been feeling Mayle bags lately, and this Carribea suede satchel is no exception ($199). Makes for a good weekend alternative the giant bags we all need to lug around during the week.
To be honest, I don't know what the hell you wear these electric blue Zizi oxfords by Repetto with ($199). Leggings and tunics in neutral colors seems like the obvious answer, but I'm sure I could do better then that with a little experimentation. A little more and they could make a serious play for being a wardrobe staple. That may be pushing it a little bit...
Seeing as not very much of the last Phillip Lim 3.1 made it to the sale racks, finding this two-toned silk dress at 50% off makes it that much more wantable ($349). Covetable. Wantable sounds less cornball then covetable, though I do realize wantable is not a real word.
A sling back pump with an office appropriate kitten heel gets seriously edged up by some gold studs in these shoes by Loeffler Randall ($229).
