Who needs shoes at work? Not this girl, apparently. I went to take an early morning outfit photo of what happens to be my favorite vintage LBD. A couple snaps in and... wait, where are my shoes? I know I was wearing them on the way to work... well, I suppose I don't KNOW I was wearing them, but one can assume...

Took a little stroll around the office and found the Lucky mag I was flipping through, then my sunglasses, then on the floor was my empty cereal bowl. What was I, born in a barn? And there, under the couch I flopped on immediately upon entering work, my shoes.

And there they are where they belong. On my feet. This dress is entering it's final days, I fear. I got it at Brown Elephant and the pleats pooled around my feet a couple feet in every direction. A couple swift hacks and it was a knee length, drop waist that has taken me from picnics in the park to dressed up for dinner and everywhere in between. The knife pleats remained knife-y for over a year but recently they seem flat and flowy. With out the crisp lines, the chiffon bottom in nearly see through and the bottom has lost a couple inches from fraying. So sad to these treasured pieces go.
