Costume Casual Week is defying all odds by entering Day Four!! Take that, naysayers! If there actually were any naysayers... Anyway, here I am as a Disco Ball. At least I came to work as a Disco ball, then I changed my mind and wanted to be a Space Girl so I stole this helmet from a coworker who was also embracing Costume Casual Week.

I like things that give the illusion that you are very dressed up, all sitting pretty, while you are actually sitting comfy. This dress looks very fancy given the fact that it is covered in sequins. BUT! IT IS LINED IN SWEATSHIRT!! WHAT??!! YES!! SEQUINS LINED IN SWEATSHIRT!! No kidding.

I think this dressy-yet-comfy effect is what the makers of velour track suits sprinkled with rhinestones were going for when they badly missed the mark and ended up with... well, velour track suits sprinkled with rhinestones. Yuck.

By the by, my Mom got me this dress. Radical, yes?
